During his week in the County, Cosby met Nathan Theriault, who runs OMM Outfitters on Eagle Lake and has been guiding for 16 years. The morning Cosby visited, Theriault cooked him moose sausage and assured an apprehensive Cosby that it was \u201cbetter than pork.\u201d (\u201cHe was right,\u201d Cosby says. \u201cIt was super tasty.\u201d) Cosby wanted to find a taxidermist, and everywhere he went people told him, \u201cFind Steve\u2014he\u2019s the best in the area.\u201d That would be Steve Jandreau, who owns Wildlife Artistry on Portage Lake. \u201cEveryone was quick to say hello and most everyone asked how they could help me in my mission,\u201d Cosby says. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to get back. I feel like I only scratched the surface of all the gems up north.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"
